Deliverables Strategy Deck, Research Reports

Brief Codistry is a full-service digital agency specializing in software, web, and marketing solutions. I contributed to research and strategy, helping clarify services, analyze client feedback, and inform recommendations that guided the company’s niche focus.

Overview
During our internship at Codistry, we conducted research, designed surveys, and analyzed results to uncover insights about the company’s services and client perceptions.

Our findings informed actionable recommendations to clarify Codistry’s value proposition, improve the website, and identify opportunities to expand its client base, particularly in healthcare and government sectors.

Research Focus
Key Findings

We examined Codistry’s brand, website, and marketing strategy. Key research questions included:

  1. How can Codistry communicate its services clearly?
  2. Would focusing on niche markets like healthcare improve engagement?
  3. How can the website better showcase the company’s expertise?

We surveyed 150+ respondents, asking about their experience navigating the website, understanding Codistry’s services, and industry preferences. We also analyzed competitor strategies, healthcare tech trends, and 360 marketing approaches.
  • Healthcare emerged as a top industry opportunity.
  • Marketing and web accessibility were the services most valued by potential clients.
  • The website had usability issues, especially on mobile, with excessive content and unclear project examples.
  • Many users misunderstood Codistry’s software expertise, thinking the company focused mainly on design.

Insights

The data highlighted the importance of simplifying the website, clearly showcasing past projects, and emphasizing credibility through case studies. Targeting healthcare and government clients was identified as the most strategic path for growth.

We suggested a healthcare-focused pivot for UX/UI services, rebranding the company to clarify its offerings, and improving website usability. Highlighting key projects, client testimonials, and core services would strengthen Codistry’s credibility and attract the right clients.

Conclusion

Codistry refined its focus to become a federal contracting software agency, designing compliant, human-centered systems for government clients. This specialization clarified the company’s value, strengthened its expertise in software solutions, and positioned it as a trusted partner in a highly regulated market.
