Well Being
I was tasked with early-stage design responsibilities for Fluid Sports Tech, aimed at improving access to mental health resources for student-athletes. My responsibilities included wireframing, user journey flows, branding and prototyping. I contributed to creating a seamless interface that prioritized ease of use and reduced friction in seeking support.
Role
Fluid Sports Tech is a platform dedicated to supporting student-athletes by connecting them with accessible mental health resources through technology. Their mission is to empower athletes to prioritize their mental well-being through seamless, user-friendly solutions designed specifically for their needs.

Conclusion
Reflecting on my time with Fluid Sports Tech, I gained valuable insights into the fast-paced nature of UI/UX design in a startup environment. As my first formal experience with product design, I learned that it goes far beyond just making something visually appealing. I discovered the importance of designing with the user in mind, focusing on functionality, usability, and accessibility. I enjoyed having multiple roles during my internship, as it allowed me to see how my design choices carried more weight in a smaller-scale environment.
